Ribbonwood by Ruby Landers

Ribbonwood by Ruby Landers It is the enemy of lovers, a romance set in Australia.

Lara Bennett is the woman everyone in Rielbonwood is talking about, not kindness. She is known for her troubles and she learned to live on the edge of her small Australian homeland.

When Golden Girl Ollie Gabrielli returns to Park Wood many years later, the old competition is not forgotten. But when they conflict, the spark of connection and understanding ignites.

Both women have to face ghosts from the past and decide whether their history will destroy them or bring them together.

writing

Ruby Landers have a distinct emotional resonance style. The conversation feels natural, with lots of jokes to offset the heavier scenes.

The Australian environment is vividly captured, rooting romance in real places. The intimate scenes are both hot and enthusiastic and feel key in the natural development of Lara and Oli’s relationship.

It’s a intense, emotional romance that blends small town dynamics, personal healing and some thriving chemistry. Ribbonwood solves some difficult topics while also providing hope and intimacy. The Rands balance the enemy’s anxiety with warmth, humor and tender moments.

Professionals and my favorite part

Sparks flew around from their first interaction. Their appeal is both primitive and compelling, and layered with tension that has not been resolved for years.

careful

While this is not the focus of the story and is not described in detail, Lala and the women she helps are victims of bullying and abuse.

in conclusion

Park Wood is original, messy, but ultimately full of hope. Rather than giving us a simple love story, Ruby Landers is a person who feels profitable, whose role is a character who fights through shame, secrets and small-town gossip to find something worth sticking to.

If you like Sapphic Romances with unforgettable chemistry, this is a must read.

Ollie doesn’t seem to be fast enough. She jumped into the farm parked outside, immediately stopped and cursed. She restarted the engine and it growled as she forced it into the gears and took herself around the corner. The heat of the day bakes on her as she jumps to the side of the road.

The general store was quiet when she almost suddenly came in, and her senses grew higher and higher as she browsed through non-existent customers, and then she stared at the owner who arranged the Mason jar behind the counter under the golden afternoon lights. Lara raised her head in surprise as Ollie strides towards her, pushing her hair back with her hand as she watches her approach. Her eyes widened

Ollie didn’t slow down for a second, lifting her old-fashioned hinged counter top and stomping behind the register, once she reached her ass, her hands reached around her hips, and then walked back firmly until her back hit the wall.

Lara was breathless and her mouth opened.

“Ori, what-“

“Lara Bennett,” she accused violently, the name came out like she swears. She slid one hand over the curve of Lara’s delicate chin, feeling the heat and softness of her skin, and seeing the flares of the primary school students open. “How dare you do this? What are you talking about when you pretend you’re so fucking beautiful inside?”
